Most probably don’t know the name Max Tkacz yet, but any electronic music fan will soon enough. Only 17 years old, Tkacz just dropped his first Motech Records release, Eclectics EP, and his sound is far beyond his youth. Dark, pulsating rhythms mark the sound of Max Tkacz. A track like “909 Kids” not only is a party starter, it sounds like the aural interpretation of a party in which the reverberations consume your whole being. Max Tkacz is originally from Melbourne, Australia, but now calls Detroit his home and the epicenter of his influences. Building from classics from the past, you can tell he learns from our great musical legacy, but fits it into his own. Again, he’s only 17 years old – this is just the beginning. Max Tkacz Eclectics EP is now available digitally at Beatport.com.LISTEN: Max Tkacz – Eclectics EP Sampler
